Pop Flowers

It's been a dark, cold, and snowy week in North Dakota and I don't image it will end for another several months.  I can't say I really mind the weather, in fact I love the snow, but who doesn't need an uplifting manicure from time to time?  For this design I knew I wanted to play with fun, bright colors, but I didn't have anything else pre-planned.  I'm so pleased with how this turned out and think it could be recreated in a myriad of colors.

I started by using my tried and true favorite color combination pink and green.  The pink I used is China Glaze Sugar High, the green is OPI Don't Mess with OPI.  For the center of the flowers I used a regular round rhinestones and the petals came from this set of decorations.

I hope this manicure will inspire some day brightening manicures for my beautiful readers!
