Sari Manicure

I love the colors of India - bright jewel tones adorned with luxurious patterns in gold and silver.  One of the first stamping plates I purchased was a 42-image plate of intricate Indian-inspired designs.  Recreating the splendor of a sari on my nails was today's goal.

I started out by painting each nail with two coats of the following (from pinky to thumb) - Zoya Reagan, Zoya Arizona, Zoya Wednesday, Zoya Dana, and China Glaze Four Leaf Clover

I stamped each nail with Konad Gold special polish using Cheeky Jumbo Image Plate C.

This plate is easily my favorite - there are so many beautiful, intricate designs and they all stamp really well.

I do wish the gold stamping was more prominent, but I am still on a quest for a great gold polish for stamping.

This manicure makes me want to jet away to India!  Who is joining me?

  1. I love the cheeky plate! I didn't know that such large nail plates existed. I'm more used to my little Konad plates. I think I'll have to buy this one. I love the colors you picked! Gorgeous!
